Remote Cloud Software Engineer

Role: Software Engineer specialized in AWS DevOps, supporting cloud infrastructure and services for mission-critical projects. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions; migrate workloads to private, public, and hybrid clouds; collaborate with teams to enhance cloud capabilities; monitor and manage cloud performance and costs; develop security strategies; support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker or Kubernetes; and ensure compliance with security standards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; 6+ years in cloud solution development or architecture; 4+ years in migration support; expertise in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or C#; familiarity with cloud services, serverless computing, infrastructure as code, and security frameworks such as NIST and FedRAMP; strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; and preferred certifications like AWS Solutions Architect. Key Duties: Architect and deploy cloud services, migrate workloads, act as a subject matter expert, enhance cloud environments, collaborate across teams, and support security and operational needs in a mission-critical setting.
